Many say that Naples is the most beautiful place to holiday in Florida. On the south west corner of Florida opposite Miami it is warmer than elsewhere and the white sand beaches, the warm Gulf of Mexico, the natural harbour, the inland waterway and the abundant natural wildlife are fantastic. It is the second home for many of the world’s wealthiest people such as Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise and Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Naples is so smart, tasteful and relaxing yet is really good value. The moment we arrived 8 years ago we fell in love with it and you will too.
Our villa is called Napoli and is on Vintage Court - a cul de sac with just 4 private villas – on Briarwood which is a quiet, private, gated, secure and exclusive development of individually designed villas all with private swimming pools set amongst landscaped gardens and lawns with swaying Royal palms and bougainvillaea.
Napoli has full air conditioning in every room with ceiling fans. It has its own private heated pool & patio area that are not overlooked. It has 4 bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin), 2 double sofa beds (so sleeps up to 12), 2 bathrooms, lounge, dining room, breakfast room and kitchen with free local telephone and high speed broadband. It has everything for a fantastic holiday for 12 people.
Napoli has many pictures, plants, ornaments, lamps and nick nacks making it really welcoming, homely and cosy. The ceiling fans and full air conditioning make the villa comfortable whatever the weather. An English lady Kathy looks after the villa and a Japanese neighbour, Midori, is on hand to help with any needs, information or advice.
The living area is a spacious single level open plan area with lounge, dining room, breakfast room & kitchen that is beautifully furnished and equipped. There is free broadband, telephone and Sky TV with a large supply of DVDs, CDs and books. There are many leaflets on local attractions and eateries.
Napoli’s location is ideal. Even though quiet and private it is just 10 minutes by car from the centre of Naples - fabulous 5th Avenue – and from the beautiful10 mile long white sand public beach fringed with palms on the warm sea of the Gulf of Mexico and from the main Interstate 75 motorway. Within a few minutes drive is golf, tennis, shopping – the huge Coastland Centre - excursions, boat trips, nature trails and walks to see the wildlife in its natural habitat including alligators, sea fishing, self drive speed boats, zoo, theatre, cinema, concert hall, restaurants and shops.The beach is probably the best in Florida with dolphins and pelicans fishing just yards from the shore and sunsets from the famous pier are amazing.
